Developed with Fabio Santambrogio, whose architectural concept and direction has shaped both stores, Paris evolves the principles first explored in Milano rather than simply repeating them. The larger, more expansive character of Milan gives way to something more intimate in Paris. Contemporary interventions respond to the proportions and existing character of Rue des Canettes, creating a dialogue between old Paris and a new architectural expression. The result is intentionally contrasting: historic and contemporary, raw and refined, precise and imperfect. A recognisable Officine Creative language, interpreted through a different place.

Material is central to the concept. Brushed steel, perforated metal and textured glass introduce an industrial precision, set against the warmth and irregularity of terracotta, stone and leather. Lighting is exposed rather than concealed, becoming part of the architecture itself. Reflections alter perspectives and allow the relatively compact space to continually shift as you move through it. Nothing is purely decorative. Materials are selected for their physical presence, how they age, reflect light, reveal texture and sit against one another. That approach has a natural connection with Officine Creative: contemporary forms shaped by traditional processes, controlled construction alongside hand-worked surfaces, and an appreciation of materials that become more individual through use and time.
